Membership

Membership in the Michigan Association of Teacher Educators is open to all persons in the State of Michigan, without discrimination on any basis, who are interested in the development and maintenance of quality teacher education programs. M.A.T.E. members are actively involved in changing the landscape of teacher preparation in Michigan. Our members receive the Perspectives on Critical Issues in Education journal, updates and member resources, and previews of our professional and student teacher conferences.

Membership fees for ATE and new MATE members have been waved through September 2021. To join, send an email with your first name, last name, institution/organization name, and your preferred email address to [email protected] and you will be included in our membership for 2020-2021.

Annual 
memberships commence October 1 and  conclude September 30 of each year, or the date of the fall membership meeting.
